Tom White
Founder and President of Frontline Ministries, Tom White conducts an international ministry catalyzing and developing citywide gospel movements, and teaching on the topics of spiritual formation, unity in the Body of Christ and spiritual warfare. Tom has emerged as a recognized innovator and practitioner in city transformation—building collaborative partnerships among kingdom leaders to more effectively reach their communities. He holds degrees from San Diego State University (B.A. Sociology, Minor in Religious Studies), and Asbury Theological Seminary (M.A. Theology).
In 1990, he published The Believer’s Guide to Spiritual Warfare (Regal), a best selling and practical work for dealing with spiritual warfare issues. 1993 brought the publication of Breaking Strongholds: How Spiritual Warfare Sets Captives Free, practical instruction on the warfare dimension of prayer evangelism. CityWide Prayer Movements: One Church, Many Congregations, was published in 2001, a practitioners guide to birthing and building city or regional movements of prayer. Tom upgraded the content of The Believers Guide in 2011, adding a substantive chapter on dealing with warfare in a city context. A new edition was released by Regal in May 2011.
Tom and his wife Terri live in Corvallis, Oregon, giving leadership to the “Church of the Valley”, a two-decade old movement of John 17 unity, prayer and kingdom collaboration in Oregon’s mid-Willamette Valley.
